Culture

Manifesto

Every stakeholder — whether a team member, client, partner, community member, contributor, or anyone connected to our ecosystem — should grow.
That’s not just a belief; it’s our core value.

We succeed when everyone around us succeeds.

Our Culture at viaSocket

“The way you do anything is the way you do everything.”

Let’s build a universal culture — not limited to any country or mindset.
We’re building something bigger than just a company.

#

Health Comes First

  • Take care of your body — a strong mind needs a strong body.

  • Stay hydrated. For screen fatigue, drink electrolytes, use Refresh Tears, and wash your face with cold water.

  • Exercise daily.

  • Eat clean — balanced meals with less spice.

#

Office Timings

  • Be available before 10:00 AM

  • Take your lunch break before 2:00 PM

  • No breaks after 5:00 PM

#

Team Culture at viaSocket

Culture starts with clarity, habits, and ownership.
Every team member must maintain four core lists to build discipline and alignment.

You can use any tool — Google Docs, Sheets, Notion, or even mobile notes.
Just make sure everything is organized by date or month.

#

1. Ideas List

Why?
Great products come from fresh, continuous ideas — big or small.

How?

  • Submit ideas regularly Link to Submit idea

  • Use the Idea Reward System to get recognized Idea Reward system

#

2. Task List

Why?
Execution is everything.

How?

  • List your current tasks, priorities, blockers, and next steps

  • Keep updating it as you progress

Value:
Brings ownership, visibility, and team alignment.

#

3. Checklist (Daily / Weekly / Monthly)

Why?
Discipline builds consistency.

How?

  • Use it for routine tasks: testing, reviews, follow-ups, reports, learning

  • Turn it into a daily habit

Value:
Stronger habits = better output over time.

#

4. Follow-up List

Why?
Following up is as important as finishing your own work.

How?

  • Note what you're waiting on (from teammates, clients, etc.)

  • Set reminders and close the loop

Value:
Nothing slips through. Communication stays tight.

5. Have ETA for your Task List
Let’s make sure every task has an ETA. Decide in advance how much time you’ll spend on it, and try not to go beyond that. If something still needs more work, we can always pick the same task again next week and improve on it.
It’s important that all tasks have ETAs so we stay on track and manage time effectively.

#

Important Notes

  • Use any format you like — but keep it structured and updated.

  • The management team will regularly review your sheets.

  • These lists directly impact your growth and performance reviews.

#

Monthly Review

At the end of every month, Ankit and the Culture Team will review your lists.
They’ll assess how well you’re contributing to a strong and growth-focused culture.

Make sure you earn a good rating — not a warning.

Task Decision Flow

Think before every task:
Is it really necessary? → Necessary today? → Part of our strategy? → Possible via tool or AI? → If yes to all, it MUST be done today — your day ends when this task ends. → Does it need to be reviewed? → Is it recurring? → YES → Add to Calendar & Master Doc → Can it be automated? → YES → Automate now or schedule automation.
